2019 BUFFALO CREEK GUN CLUB AR-15 CLINICS
These clinics have been designed to cover all aspects of High Power Rifle Competition. Upon completion of the series, you’ll be fully prepared to confidently enter any NRA High Power Rifle (HPR) competition. Also, completion of any of these clinics will satisfy the CMP requirements to purchase US surplus rifles and ammunition. All clinics will include an informative lecture on safety, handling, and function of the AR-15. Each clinic focuses on the three positions and four courses of fire used in HPR matches. June 02, July 27& August 25, 2018 -All Positions, 200 Yards or longer ranges depending on number of participants & time. All clinics: Check-In/On-Site Registration Time: 8:00 AM Clinic Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:00PM (depending on number of participants) The cost for each Clinic is $60 per single participant (Includes use of Club AR-15 and ammunition). If using your own rifle & ammo, the Clinic charge is $40 per participant. Group participants’ cost will be $60/$40 for the first participant and $50/$30 for each additional participant in the group, so bring the family and friends! Club ammunition will be available for a nominal fee. Juniors under 18 are FREE with any paying adult. Pre-registration is encouraged; contact the clinic coordinator at least one week prior to the clinic date in which you’re interested. Late entries will be accepted until 8:00 AM the morning of the clinic, IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE. Refunds will be made ONLY PRIOR to the clinic date by contacting the clinic coordinator, Warren Tanaka (email_warren@yahoo.com). NO REFUNDS AFTER THE DATE OF THE CLINIC FOR WHICH YOU’RE REGISTERED. See the Page 2 of this flier for registration, contact, and location details. AR-15 CLINIC FAQ What do I need to bring? BCGC will furnish “National Match” grade AR-15s and .223 ammunition for all clinics. If you wish, you can use & be instructed on your personal AR-15. If your rifle is not .223, you must supply your own ammunition. A minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition will be needed. Bring your own water, lunch & snacks. Check our website, www.BCGC.com, for a list of other personal items to bring. Be aware that there is NO water available on the range and primitive toilets ONLY. Where are the clinics held? All clinics are held at the Buffalo Creek Gun Club/Camp Fickes rifle range. The range is approximately. one and one-half hours from Denver. Take US Highway 285 south to Bailey, CO. The range is in the Pike National Forest south and east of Bailey. See the map below:
